Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026.
This policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit resimo.com, contact our team or request a downloadable guide. It applies to this website and its forms. A separate contract or privacy notice may apply to a Resimo application supplied to a property developer.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller for this website is Resimo Software Design Co. L.L.C, Level 5, The Offices 3, One Central, World Trade, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For privacy enquiries and requests, contact office@resimo.com. Please mention “Privacy request” in the subject so we can direct your message to the appropriate team.
Information we collect and why
- Enquiries and demo requests. We process your name, business email, company, any phone number you choose to provide and the message you send. We use these details to answer your request, arrange the requested conversation and manage the relationship with your company.
- Guides and case studies. We request your name, business email and company to provide the selected material and record its source in our CRM. We check the email domain against a list of personal and temporary services and check its public mail records. This checks the domain, without verifying that you own the mailbox. After a successful request, the PDF is available through a download link valid for 24 hours.
- Optional email updates. If you select the separate checkbox, we record your agreement to receive Resimo news and case studies. You can access the guide without selecting it. Requesting a guide does not, by itself, subscribe you to future emails.
- Request context. A form can include its page, language, selected market, device category and submission time. These help us route and understand the request. Campaign information is attached only with marketing cookie consent; browsing history, visit duration and a masked IP address are attached only with analytics consent.
- Operation and security. Our hosting provider processes technical request information, including network addresses, to deliver and protect the website. We use short-lived hashed identifiers to limit repeated form submissions and prevent duplicate requests.
Providing the fields marked as required is necessary to process that form. Other details and non-essential cookies are optional. If a validation check prevents a legitimate request, contact us by email and we will help you access the material.
Grounds for processing
We process the information needed to respond to the enquiry or provide the material you request. Depending on the applicable law and the request, this is based on your request and consent, steps before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and protecting the website. Where the GDPR applies, these grounds correspond to Article 6(1)(a), (b) or (f), as appropriate. We rely on consent for optional analytics, advertising technologies and email updates. We may retain information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential storage supports security, language and market choices and your cookie preferences. You can accept or reject analytics and marketing separately in the cookie banner and change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining optional cookies does not prevent you from requesting a guide or contacting us.
- Analytics, if enabled and accepted: Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot help us understand visits and improve the website. Session tools can record interactions such as page views and clicks.
- Marketing, if enabled and accepted: Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, OpenAI Ads, Apollo and Albacross support campaign measurement, advertising or recognition of visiting companies. Some tags are delivered through Google Tag Manager. Google tags may send consent-state and cookieless measurement signals while advertising or analytics storage is denied.
Marketing cookie consent and consent to email updates are separate choices. Withdrawing one does not automatically change the other. You can also use your browser settings to block or remove storage; this may affect remembered choices.
Who receives data and international processing
Authorised Resimo personnel and service providers receive the information needed for their work. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. HubSpot stores form submissions and CRM records. Our email provider handles correspondence. With the corresponding cookie permission, the analytics and marketing providers listed above receive relevant technical and interaction data. The email-domain check sends the domain part of the address to Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver, without the mailbox name.
Our team and providers may process data in the United Arab Emirates, Europe, the United States and other countries in which they operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the relevant contractual safeguards or another permitted transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your data.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry and CRM information for the period needed to handle the request and the resulting business relationship, or to meet legal requirements and resolve claims. We assess continued retention against those purposes. Email preferences are kept until withdrawal, together with the limited evidence needed to honour and demonstrate that choice. Security and operational information is retained only as needed for its purpose.
Download authorisations and their duplicate-request records expire after 24 hours. The download endpoint does not place the PDF in a public browser cache. The form’s hourly request counter expires after one hour. Your browser’s cookie and storage settings also affect how long locally stored preferences remain available.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy in a portable format, and object to processing where applicable law provides these rights. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before it. To stop email updates, use the unsubscribe option provided in the message or write to office@resimo.com. We may ask for information proportionate to verifying your request.
You may raise a concern with us or with the data protection authority responsible under the law applicable to your situation. Where the GDPR applies, you may complain to the supervisory authority in the country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. Where UAE data protection law applies, the rights and complaint routes under that law also apply.
External websites and social profiles
Links to applications, project websites and social networks may take you to another service. Those services have their own privacy notices. The relevant social network also processes activity on its platform under its own rules.
Updates and contact
We update this policy when the website or its processing changes and show the revision date above. For questions, a copy of information relevant to your data or to exercise a right, contact office@resimo.com.
