Questions our clients ask us most.

What developers ask us before, during and after a project, from choosing a product to what happens when a station stops working.

About Resimo

Who we are, where we work and who we work with.

What is Resimo?

Resimo builds 3D sales applications for real estate developers, in which a buyer explores any apartment in a development before it is built.

We have been doing this since 2008 and have signed projects in 25+ countries. Resimo is the brand we work under internationally, and in Poland the same team works as Yslab.

Who has worked with Resimo?

200+ development companies have worked with Resimo, across 1,000+ applications delivered.

They range from a single building to a whole resort, in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America. 92% of our work comes from developers who had already worked with us.

Where is Resimo based?

Resimo is headquartered in Warsaw and has offices in Toronto, Miami, Madrid, Dubai and Erbil.

Local teams support clients in 11 markets: Poland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Canada and the United States. Everywhere else we work through the remote access we keep to every station we install.

Why work with Resimo when there is a local 3D studio?

A local studio can make a beautiful render, and Resimo adds the application your sales team opens every day, built on a production process behind 1,000+ applications.

You do not have to choose between the two. Where local presence matters, we have local support in 11 markets, and the renderings can come from the same model as the application.

Is Resimo a rendering studio or a sales tool?

Resimo is both: it builds the interactive applications sales teams use in sales offices and on developer websites, and its CGI department produces the stills and films from the same 3D model.

Buyers filter units, compare apartments, check the view from a balcony and save favourites in the application. The campaign images come from that model too, so nothing is modeled twice.

What if we already work with a 3D vendor?

Many developers keep two approved suppliers, and Resimo often starts as the second one, on one real project.

We take part of the workload, deliver on that project and let the result decide the rest. Nothing has to be replaced on day one.

Choosing a product

Which application fits which project, and when a headset or a render is the better call.

What is the difference between Resimo Touch, Web and Light?

Resimo Touch runs on a touch station in the sales office with full freedom of movement, Resimo Web runs in any browser on your website, a tablet or the office screen, and Resimo Light is a lighter web application built from pre-rendered shots.

The comparison table on the Solutions page sets the three side by side: where each one runs, what the buyer does in it, delivery time and budget.

Which one do you recommend?

For most projects Resimo recommends starting with Resimo Web and adding Resimo Touch when the sales office itself has to win the visit.

All three are built from one 3D model of your development, so moving up later adds to the work already done. Light suits a settled design that has to launch soon.

Does Resimo Touch run on a tablet or a phone?

Resimo Touch runs only on the station in the sales office, and on a tablet, a phone or a laptop the same development runs in Resimo Web.

When does VR make sense?

Resimo VR fits trade fairs and the showings in your sales office you want remembered, while the everyday conversation at the desk runs better on the touch screen next to it.

It opens from the browser on standalone headsets of the Quest class, with nothing to install. Phones and tablets show the same 360 scenes with the gyroscope.

What does Resimo AR show?

Resimo AR stands the massing of your building and its site plan on a table, at roughly 1:100 to 1:200, in the buyer's phone browser.

It shows the building from outside. Apartments open in Resimo Web and Resimo Touch. There is no app to download: iOS and Android open it natively.

Can we order renderings without an application?

Resimo renderings and films can be ordered on their own, and the model we build for them is ready if you want the application later.

There are two ways to the pictures: classic CGI from our studio, or the fast way, where frames from the application are raised by our graphic designers with AI tools.

What does the AI Sales Assistant do?

The Resimo AI Sales Assistant answers buyers inside your Resimo Web application from the data you give us about the project, and turns the conversation into a lead.

It answers from your units, prices, descriptions, amenities and location. With your reps' calendars connected, it books the meeting in the same conversation.

Process and timeline

How long a project takes, how it runs and what happens when your plans change.

How long does a Resimo project take?

A standard Resimo Touch project takes 8+ weeks, Resimo Web 6+ weeks and Resimo Light 4+ weeks, counted from the day your plans and unit list are with us.

A larger development takes longer, which is what the plus says. A shorter schedule is possible on some projects, quoted and confirmed case by case.

What are the stages of a project?

A Resimo project runs in four stages: you send the materials, we build from the outside in, you review each stage, and we launch the application and train your team.

The surroundings and the masterplan come first, then the buildings, then every apartment interior. Your comments go in before the next stage starts, so nothing reaches the sales office unseen.

What if our project changes mid-way?

A change to your building or unit layouts does not restart a Resimo project, because the model is built from the outside in and project details come last.

Minor design changes during production are usually made at no extra cost. A larger change is quoted before we make it.

Can we see the web version before the 3D scene is approved?

As a rule, Resimo Web goes live after you accept the 3D scene, so every surface shows the approved building.

When a launch date is very tight, we agree an earlier preview with you.

Do you need to visit the site?

Resimo builds the surroundings of your plot from map data and photographs, so no site visit is needed.

Where the map is out of date, drone or site photos from you fill the gap.

Can several buildings or phases go into one application?

One Resimo application carries several buildings and phases, and a phase can be switched on when it goes on sale.

A development with two towers runs as one project and is delivered together.

Is every apartment furnished, or only a few show units?

Every apartment in a Resimo application is furnished in its interior style, because a style is a system of 150 to 300 furniture models applied to every layout.

Buyers switch between styles on the spot, in any apartment of the building.

What we need from you

For a quote, for production and for the parts that are still undecided.

What do you need for a quote?

For a quote, Resimo needs the location of the development, the number of buildings and the number of apartments.

The call where we go through it takes about 20 minutes.

What do you need to start production?

To start production, Resimo needs the architect's 2D plans, the apartment layouts, the exact location and access to your unit database or a spreadsheet of units.

Anything else you have speeds things up: 3D models, renders, finish decisions and drone photos.

We only have drawings. Is that enough?

Resimo builds the 3D model from 2D plans, and an existing architectural model only speeds the work up.

What if the finishes are not decided yet?

Resimo starts with what is settled and folds in the rest, so undecided finishes do not hold the project back.

A finish decided later goes into the same model, and every screen shows it once it is in.

Pricing and contracts

What a project costs depends on the project, so this section explains what drives the quote.

What does a Resimo application cost?

A Resimo application is quoted per project, and the quote follows the size of the development, the surfaces the application runs on and the modules you add.

A single building on one touch screen and a district on four surfaces are different pieces of work. We quote both in the same call.

How do Touch, Web and Light compare on budget?

Resimo Touch is the largest investment of the three, Resimo Web sits in the middle and Resimo Light is the smallest, which the comparison table shows as $$$, $$ and $.

Web also needs no station, because it runs on a screen you already have.

Is it a subscription?

A Resimo application is bought once, with no subscription, and billed per project stage as each stage is delivered.

It runs on as many machines as you need.

Can we edit the application ourselves?

Prices and statuses are yours to change in your CRM or the Resimo panel, while plans, unit cards and gallery images are updated by our team on request.

The source files of the application stay with Resimo. What is handed over at the end of the cooperation is set in the contract.

Can we start small?

Many developers start Resimo with one building or one surface, with a defined scope, and add the rest once the first part is selling.

Hardware and the sales office

What stands in the sales office, who installs it and what happens when something breaks.

What hardware does the sales office need?

For Resimo Touch the sales office needs a PC station with a touch screen or a totem, and Resimo selects, delivers, installs and configures it.

Resimo Web needs only a screen with a browser, which can be one you already have. Dedicated set-ups such as an immersive room or large curved screens are designed per office.

Can we buy the hardware ourselves?

Resimo hands over the full specification and helps you buy and install the station wherever you are.

Should we rent or buy the equipment?

For a sales office, buying the Resimo station pays off, and renting only makes sense for a short event.

Is a touch screen required?

A touch screen is recommended for Resimo Touch but not required, and the application also runs with a mouse.

Mouse control is common at event stands where there is little room.

Can we run it on more than one screen?

Two screens on one Resimo station show the same picture, and a second independent workstation needs its own station.

We set the second station up the same way as the first.

How do we spend less on the equipment?

Resimo matches the station to your project, and most developments do not need the most expensive configuration.

If a station is out of budget altogether, Resimo Web runs in the same office on a screen you already have.

What if the internet in the sales office goes down?

Resimo Touch keeps running in the sales office when the connection drops, and availability syncs again once it is back.

What warranty does the hardware carry?

The hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty, usually about 2 years, and claims go through Resimo.

The application has its own, longer warranty from us.

Website and integrations

Your website, your CRM, your analytics and your brand.

Can it be embedded in our website?

Resimo Web embeds into your existing website as one snippet, whatever CMS you use, and buyers browse units without leaving your page.

We send the code and the instructions, your web team pastes it in and we check it on your site. The step by step is in the knowledge base.

Which devices does it run on?

Resimo Web runs in any current browser on a phone, a tablet, a laptop or a touch screen, with nothing to install.

Does it show live availability?

Resimo reads unit statuses and prices from your CRM or database, so nobody presents a unit that sold last week.

If you have no CRM, we integrate with a spreadsheet.

Which CRMs do you integrate with?

Resimo integrates with any CRM that exposes an API, and with a spreadsheet when there is no CRM.

The standard scope is units, their data and their cards, plus lead registration where your CRM allows it. Each integration is built for the project.

Can buyers reserve a unit in the application?

Where your CRM exposes an API, a reservation request from Resimo lands in your sales process with the unit attached.

With the Resimo CRM and analytics panel, the path from browsing to a reserved unit runs end to end.

Can we track it in Google Analytics?

Resimo Web sends its events to your own GA4 property, with the lead event fired only on a submitted enquiry and no personal data in it.

GA4 cannot tell you which apartments one particular buyer looked at. The CRM and analytics panel shows that, session by session.

Can it run on our own server or domain?

Resimo applications run in our cloud by default, and can run on your own server and under your own domain for a separate quote.

Can we show several currencies, and square feet?

Resimo shows current prices in more than one currency and areas in square metres or square feet, whichever your buyers expect.

Useful when the apartment is in one country and the buyer in another.

Can it carry our brand?

The colours of a Resimo application always follow your logotype, and icons and fonts can be adjusted too.

The layout stays ours, because buyers find their way around it without help.

CRM, analytics and AI

What the panel shows, what it needs and who in your team uses it.

What does the CRM and analytics panel show?

The Resimo CRM and analytics panel shows your leads, your units and a timeline of every visitor session, with the apartments opened and the time spent on each.

Every lead carries its source and campaign, and behavioural scoring tells your team who to call first.

What does the panel need from us?

The Resimo panel needs your Resimo Web application, because it reads its traffic, and your units, from a spreadsheet or from your CRM.

Everything else we set up with your team.

Is the data ours?

Leads and units in the Resimo panel are yours and export to a spreadsheet at any time, and the public API reads them too.

Who in our team can use it?

Sales, marketing and the board each get access to the Resimo panel modules they need, granted per person.

Can we read what buyers asked the AI assistant?

Every conversation with the Resimo AI Sales Assistant lands in the panel on the visitor session, with a match rate showing how many questions found an answer.

Security and privacy

The measures, the documents and where the data lives.

How is our data protected?

Resimo encrypts data in transit and at rest, gives access by role and backs up the databases every day.

Access to the panel can also be limited to your trusted network addresses.

Can our IT team see your security documentation?

Resimo shares its security document with your IT team on request, under an NDA.

Where is the data hosted?

Resimo hosts applications and their data in its own cloud by default, and on a server in a location you choose for a separate quote.

Can buyer data be exported or anonymised?

Buyer data in the Resimo panel can be exported and anonymised, which covers the data requests your team receives from buyers.

Support and warranty

What happens after launch, who to call and what the warranty covers.

What happens after the application goes live?

Every Resimo application carries a warranty of 3 years, and the team keeps updating it while the development is still selling.

New buildings, re-planned floors and sold apartments go into the same model the application already runs on. Minor changes during construction are usually handled at no extra cost.

What does the warranty cover?

The Resimo warranty of 3 years covers failures of the application, and we keep remote access to every station we install.

The hardware is covered separately by its manufacturer, with claims handled through us.

Who do we contact when something is wrong?

Every Resimo client has a project manager, and a report by email or phone goes straight to them.

We confirm the report as soon as it arrives. A problem that stops your sales team from working goes to the top of the queue.

Is support local or remote?

Resimo has local support in 11 markets, and remote support everywhere else through the connection we keep to every station we install.

The eleven markets are Poland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Canada and the United States. Remote access is also how most problems get solved there.

What happens when the game engine gets an update?

Resimo handles engine updates on its side, so you do not manage them and you do not pay for them separately.

We build on Unreal Engine and Unity and choose per project.

Events and brokers

Trade fairs, launches and the people who sell for you outside the office.

Can we take the application to a trade fair?

Resimo prepares the application for an event: the stations are checked and updated, the latest unit list is loaded and the application runs offline if the venue connection is weak.

Tell us the dates early, and someone from our team stays reachable over the event weekend.

Can brokers and agents use it?

Brokers and agents get Resimo Web as a link that opens on any device, so they show the same development you show in the office.

Will our sales team actually use it?

Resimo onboards and trains your sales team at launch, and the application is built so buyers operate it without help, which is what makes reps trust it.

Adoption is our interest too: 92% of our work comes from developers who came back.
